Lair might hit the shelves at PS3 launch dates
Factor 5 developers are the studios responsible for the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series, yet it appears that’s not the only franchise they are currently working at. Sony officially announced Lair, where huge dragons, bewitching fiery beasts, are soon enough coming to PS3. Lair is an action adventure game that has you playing as a dragon-riding warrior.
The game has been in development as a PS3 exclusive for more than eighteen months, but with the notable exception of the 2005 Playstation meeting, there has been a shortage of screenshots and trailers. Although details such as pricing, rating or release date are still unknown, Liar might very well be one of the last minute additions to the Playstation 3 list of launch day titles.

Miami rapper Pitbull acts out one of the henchmen
Scarface was Brian De Palma’s 1983 hit, a movie to see controversial responses, dealing with drugs and gang wars. We witness the rise and fall of Tony Montana, the Cuban immigrant gangster played by Al Pacino, starting from poverty and ending up in a huge estate, running a drug cartel. Constantly facing open adversity, the game’s protagonist was embraced by the hip-hop community for his perseverance, overcoming the odds granted by poverty in the grey urban outskirts of Miami. VU Games announced that it’s holding a talent search for unsigned
musical artists, to feature in its forthcoming game adaptation of Scarface.

In the northern lands of Tsurukoku, on the border of the Iwayama mountains and the Ashlands, the dai-bakemono live in mountain forts and hard iron castles. These mountain goblins are larger, huskier, and more aggressive than their smaller cousins who plague the bamboo forests, hills, and farms of the southern low lands.

Between our world and hell lies the Dungeons of Kubla Khan. Here, that dreaded ultra-dimensional warlord has locked away those poor souls whom he holds for ransom. Some are souls who hold some covetous power to that monarch of War, other are those poor unfortunates who deserve the suffering his torturers heap upon their flesh. Some claim that their torture and ransom insure the Khan?s place as Demigod of Battles. It is suspected that their ultimate sacrifice at the hands of his executioner priests will grant his ascension to the upper tier of deities where he promises his worshippers to be the true Harbinger of Armageddon. All that is required, it seems, is the capture and sacrifice of the recent plunderers of his ancient tomb.

What is this ‘it’ Cliffy speaks of?
On again off again (oh, relax, it’s because he’s busy making Gears of War) 1UP developer blogger extraordinaire Cliff Bleszinski updated his blog talking about “IT.” Nope, that doesn’t mean IT as in those guys who come and fix your T3 line when it breaks or the people you call at Comcast to see why your Internet keeps failing you — CliffyB is talking about the “it” that some games just have.
Everyone wants to know what it is. That certain “je ne sais quoi” that an actress or a restaurant or, say, a game has.

Okay. We’re not promising that Microsoft is going to release a version of the original PlayStation masterpiece Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Xbox Live Arcade this week.
However, what we are saying is that it’s the Tokyo Game Show and Microsoft is begging 360 owners to check out exclusive coverage of both TGS and the Euro-centric X06 event, via Xbox Live. And we’re also saying that Microsoft’s press release today promised two new Xbox Live Arcade titles this week, including, “a never before announced major franchise” - and, seeing as how Microsoft has a pre-TGS event this Wednesday - the day the new downloads are launched - it would sure make sense if that title were Japanese-developed. Finally, we here at GamesRadar have heard rumors that a 360 version of Konami’s 2D masterwork is on the way sooner or later. So we’re putting two and two together and hoping for sooner.

Action RPG Circle of Doom ventures outside its home territory.
When developer Blueside first started talking about Kingdom of Fire: Circle of Doom early this year, the studio wasn’t clear on whether the Xbox 360 title would venture outside Asia. Today, however, Microsoft announced that the new title will indeed arrive in the States next year.
Unlike previous titles in the franchise, which offered action-heavy real-time strategy, Circle of Doom enters the Kingdom of Fire universe as an action RPG. The game uses characters and story threads from other games in the series, and will feature randomly generated environments, fast action, and — at times — thousands of enemies on screen at once.
