DICE sells their independence for $24 million.

Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions CE have become financially buddy-buddy as the Battlefield series has experienced continued success over the years, and today the two announced EA had finally completed its outright purchase of the studio for roughly $24 million.

Right now, DICE is gearing up for the imminent release of Battlefield 2142 on the PC, while continuing work on the newly announced Battlefield: Bad Company for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP and PC.
